Server Specifications
(server is included)
Dell Precision 350 or equivalent, with Windows XP Pro (Windows 2003 Server, optional) and 1GB RAM. 80 GB Hot swap RAID 1 storage included, but may be increased.
Database Requirements MS SQL 2000 (optional) or MSDE (included)
Playback Client Requirements Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, 2003. 600MHz and 256 MB RAM or better.
Recording Client Requirements Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, 2003. 450 MHz and 256 MB RAM or better.
Storage and Network Requirements Varies with load and screen resolution. 100 Hours recording per GB of disk space is a good rule of thumb. TCP/IP connectivity required between clients and server.
Maximum Recording Clients
(on a single server)
There is no limit to the total deployed screens although only 72 active recordings are supported per server. Multiple servers may be deployed (WAN/LAN) in an array supporting centralized archiving and review.
Synchronized Playback Options
(Voice/Video)
Native playback supported by Encore and CenterPlus tools.
Recording Distribution Options Recordings (Voice/Video) may be merged and converted to Windows-compatible video formats to be emailed or sent on CD or DVD.
