Defender Trunked Radio
How Encore Defender's Trunk Radio interface works
System with LORI card
In this scenario, there is a one-to-one mapping between the talk group and the Encore port.
The trunk (ie. the radio channel) does not matter. The radio interface captures information for each segment (radio id, etc.)
but does not detrunk.

System without LORI card
In this scenario, there is a one-to-one mapping between
a radio channel (trunk) and an Encore port. Calls with the same talk group can appear on different Encore ports and must be detrunked.

System without LORI card and "over the air" tap
This is essentially the same as above.
The difference is in the way we are picking the audio signal.
In an over-the-air tap Encore Defender can capture public safety radio traffic with no direct controller interface.

Calls with LORI
Note that the calls with the same talk group id (eg 100, green) are on the same port.

Calls without LORI
Note that the calls with the same talkgroup (eg 100, green) may be on different Encore ports.
